Truck Safety Record - Rumble Tumble
Company's utilizing company trucks are in a different category than those using company cars.
- Trucks mean grunt work - hauling, towing, pulling, and usually in off road conditions.
- There is more stress put on a truck than most cars.
- Where today's cars are more designed for longevity and endurance, trucks are designed for performance - which is what you need from your company trucks.
So when you get that truck safety record back from the safety experts, hold back your comments until you've had a chance to remember these key differences.
Taking the truck safety record with a grain of salt
Who is at fault when that truck safety record comes back with a whole series of accidents and mishaps? Your employees? The environment? Other drivers on the road too inept and careless to mind your huge truck hauling 3 tons of lead? Probably all of them at some point - meaning the record doesn't just speak for your employees.
So again - take your truck record with a grain of salt. A lot can go wrong when you're in a truck - and this is Vehicle Record Checks telling you this, so it must be true.
